This is the XR version! This sound module is in very good condition with normal cosmetic wear, has been tested, and sounds great. Please see pictures for details on item condition - only what is pictured is included.
Product Details
The Proteus/2 XR sound module is the same as the Proteus/2 but with extended RAM for storing another 192 user presets and were shipped with 128 new presets, which 64 of ROM presets were duplicated in RAM.
The E-MU Proteus/2 sound module is based on the same technical characteristics of its predecessor, Proteus/1, but with different waveforms. It concentrates on purely orchestral sounds with a wide range of solo strings, woodwinds, classical brass, orchestral percussion and more.
Based on the excellent EIII sound library, the Proteus/2 module is extremely capable of realistic orchestral emulations.
