Expand with Digital I/O

Make short work of the most demanding sessions and future proof your studio with iD48's optical input and output connections. Supporting both ADAT and SPDIF, iD48 lets you boost your I/O by adding up to 16 channels of external mic preamps to your setup.

8 x Balanced Inserts for Outboard Integration

Utilizing Dsub connections, iD48 provides eight fully balanced inserts letting you integrate your favorite outboard FX prior to conversion – giving you the cleanest signal path possible. Perfect for stem mixing and print-backs.

Switchable Insert Routing
And for the first time ever, iD48's Switchable insert routing enables you to select which source is feeding the ADC path. Letting you choose whether to send the Audient Mic Preamp or a DAW output to your outboard on a per channel basis and all without having to plug or unplug cables.

Headphone Outputs
Confidently mix on headphones with either of iD48's two engineer-grade and independent stereo headphone amps, providing 124dB dynamic range and enough power to support headphones up to 600Ohms.

Speaker Outputs
Connect, listen and reference your mixes through Main and Alt speaker outputs. Alternatively use the extra line outputs to send audio to an external headphone amp for distribution to your artists.

Talkback Control
Take advantage of iD48's innovative talkback technology, letting you use a USB microphone or your computer's built-in mic as a dedicated talkback mic – freeing up valuable mic preamps for recording.

User Defined Monitor Control
