This broken DBX 119 Compressor (with 160 VCA's) has noise on the outputs and has an attached Power Cable.

Condition

This unit has noise on the outputs, and does not include the sides or the large knob. For these reasons we are selling it AS IS - For Parts Only. NO Returns will be accepted on this unit. Please see pictures for details on item condition - only what is pictured is included.

The 119 has similar compression characteristic to the famous 160 VU, one of the all time great bass, vocal and drums compressors. Both units use the same canister style VCA's, same transformer, same capacitors etc. The 119 is great for bass, vocals, drums, synths, mix busses, master mixes, etc. For some reason, this design is just nice and warm and punchy and keeps wayward frequencies in check, which is all you need from a compressor really. The 119 is a very similar design of the 117, but the compression range has been extended and the capability of expanding or compressing above a pre-set threshold.
