This week we added the high end JoeMeek rack gear to our offerings. The high end JoeMeek line has long been loved for their tonal quality and character. The latest offerings, the Q2 line, build upon all of the great JoeMeek channel strips, and make them even better by adding features like 24 Bit 96KHz digital outputs included in every unit, which is a feature that many high end pieces still lack from other lines.
The 2 channel TwinQ2 comes with high quality Burr-Brown IC's in the preamp, an extremely musical EQ section and an optical compressor for that signature "Meek" sound. The TwinQ2 is a unique piece to have in any rack. Also added are some new and innovative features, like an "Iron" switch that switches the IC front end to a transformer - completely changing the topology of the circuit. It even has 24bit, 96k A/D converters built in.
"The updated JoeMeek OneQ2 Master Studio Channel keeps all the color, charm and native quirkiness of the original two-rackspace OneQ, but widens its operational range, reliability and usefulness. Primary among the many improvements are the "remixed" front end, a 10dB increase in headroom and lower noise floor for the entire unit, all cojured up by audio magus Paul Wolff." - Mix Magazine
The SixQ2 is a single channel mic pre, three bands of highly musical EQ, and JoeMeek's signature optical compressor. All of that makes for a highly capable recording channel. Output either analog or digitally directly to your sound card or DAW for a warm, musical analog sound - just what you've been looking for! Used Spotlight
We featured another TC 2290 a few months ago, and it sold almost immediately. So we're doing it again! We rarely have these units in stock, and when we get them, they tend to fly off the shelf. Acclaimed as the Industry Standard Digital Delay, the TC 2290 is to be found in recording studios, PA rigs and guitarists' FX racks around the globe.
The Yamaha SPX-900 is a classic effects processor that you'll find in many pro recording studios. These are still well loved for their vintage reverbs and effects. It's great to have a nice simple reverb and effects processor in your rack for mixing, tracking, and live sound. This awesome unit used to outside of the price range of what most people could afford, but now at $199.99 used, you can get a powerful tool, with an interesting vintage vibe. Plus they are just plain fun to mess around with.
Disclaimer: Prices are subject to change. With most used items we usually only have one or two in stock. If you see something you like you should buy it before someone else does. Our used inventory changes very rapidly. Hundreds of items are sold and listed every week, so check back often! If you see something in stock, it REALLY is. When something sells out on our website, be it a new or used piece of equipment, it immediately goes out of stock and can't be purchased by another buyer. It's one of the many great advantages to shopping with Pixel Pro Audio.
