Product Details

The CFX series of consoles represents Mackie's efforts in designing an integrated console suitable for live production as well as recording. The Mackie CFX-16MK2 offers a feature set providing versatility in both environments. The CFX-16MK2 features 16 inputs standard. Channels 1 through 12 are mono and 13 through 16 are stereo paired. 12 Ultra Low Noise mic preamps provide pristine audio detail and wide dynamic range. Inserts on channels 1 through 12 are also provided. The CFX-16MK2 features an internal 32-bit EMAC effects processor engine featuring the same processing quality as the renowned Mackie Digital 8 Bus. Featured effects include reverb, delay, chorus, flange, phase and more. A dedicated mono, sub frequency output is provided in addition to balanced left and right XLR outputs.

Internal Multi Effects Processor
The Mackie CFX series features 32-bit custom EMAC effects processing featuring reverb, delay, chorus, flanger, phaser and more. Mackie Digital 8 Bus, EMAC 32-bit processing assures no loss in detail during processing.

16 Input 12 Insert Design
The CFX-16MK2 features 16 line inputs. Channels 1-12 are mono, inputs 13,14,15 and 16 are stereo paired. Inserts on channels 1-12 and Main Outputs provide flexible routing to external signal processors or use the inserts as outputs for monitoring.

Balanced Stereo and Mono Sub Output
The CFX Series features 3 balanced XLR outputs. The Left and Right main outputs carry the stereo signal via the stereo bus. The third Mono output is automatically crossed over at 75Hz providing sub frequencies.

Graphic EQ on Stereo Bus
A 9 Band Graphic EQ on the Main Stereo Bus allows engineers to shape the frequency at the last stage before output. A perfect solution for cutting transient frequencies in a live sound situation.

4 Sub Group Outputs
4 assignable group outputs are perfect for routing channels to monitors or multi track recorders.

Break Switch
The Break Switch gives engineers peace of mind by providing a global "mute" of all the consoles input channels. An intermission play-back device like a tape recorder or CD player will be the only signal allowed passage when connected to the "Tape Inputs".
